Amplified Voices x Parker School
Parker School // Averill Park NY // February 2026
Parker School sought to transform the entrance of its library into a visual expression of its core values, mixed-age learning model, and whole-child philosophy. The mural concept was developed through a school-wide survey, allowing students and staff to shape the themes we translated into a unified visual narrative. In partnership with Jade Warrick, I led a week-long mural and wellness initiative that engaged grades 3–8 directly in the painting process while delivering immersive wellness workshops to the entire school community, PreK through 8th grade. Workshops focused on mindful movement, emotional regulation, affirmations, and collaborative reflection, ensuring the creative experience strengthened both social-emotional development and academic readiness. The final design, rooted in discovery, nature, scientific exploration, and diverse representation, incorporated real student photo references so children could see themselves reflected in the work. Subtle integrations of school branding and student-generated affirmations anchor the mural in Parker’s educational philosophy, while teacher slide decks and family updates ensured the experience extended beyond the wall into classrooms and homes.

"We loved working with you, and were SO sad when the whole thing was over! I’m already brainstorming more ways to get you back to Parker! This project has added tremendous value to our community. It has become a lasting symbol of connection and possibility within our school. What stood out to me most was the genuine connection between Eugene, Jade, and our students. It was clear how much they loved being part of this experience, not just artistically, but in terms of wellness, confidence, and community. The mural is more than just art on a wall; it holds the memory of the experience itself. We are so grateful!"
