Kipp Troy Prep Elementary - Troy, NY // June 2023
KIPP Troy Prep Elementary aimed to transform its industrial basement cafeteria into a vibrant space that reflected school pride, values, and togetherness. As the school’s first public art project, the mural was designed to support student well-being and positive behavior through interactive wellness stations woven into the artwork. Featuring the school’s mascot, Tenacious the Tiger, the mural guides students through breathing, balance, gratitude, intention-setting, and reflection, ending in a moment of imagination beneath a shooting star. What was once a purely functional room is now an immersive environment that fosters calm, connection, and school identity.
