In Year 3, the program shifted toward professional development, empowering returning students to take full creative ownership of their work. Fourteen students, from middle school through college, designed and painted nine original murals rooted in personal meaning, using professional planning and execution techniques. Mentorship emphasized real-world decision-making, problem-solving, and accountability, mirroring the experience of working muralists. The program concluded with a public celebration where students presented their work, marking a major milestone in confidence, visibility, and artistic growth.
